Magento Returns Management

Returns and warranty claims from Magento handled in one dashboard. See what connecting your store to RetJet gives you and how fast you can set it up.

Magento, today developed by Adobe, is a store platform installed on your own server. It’s chosen mostly by stores with a large catalog and their own technical team, who need full control over the look and logic of their sales.

Why connect your store to RetJet

A return starts with the question of whether the person filing it actually bought something from you. Without a connection to the store, that answer has to be found by hand: open the Magento panel, search for the order, check the line items. At a dozen or so requests a day, that’s dozens of minutes of work nobody planned for.

Once connected, that verification happens on its own, the moment the customer fills in the form.

How it works in practice

The customer provides the order number and email address. RetJet confirms them in your store and shows the list of purchased products, from which the customer marks what they’re returning. The request lands in the dashboard together with returns from every other channel.

Your store doesn’t feel this connection. RetJet doesn’t copy the order database or query it in the background, it only reaches for one specific order when it’s needed.

You make the form itself available however suits you. You can give customers a ready-made address on our side and leave the store untouched, embed the form in a chosen spot on the page with one script, or open it in a popup after a button click. None of these options requires any change to the Magento template.

What changes in day-to-day work

  • No more switching between the store panel and return handling.
  • The customer doesn’t need to create an account to submit a return.
  • They ship the parcel themselves, without printing a label.
  • You see shipments heading to the warehouse before they arrive.
  • Customer conversation and warehouse receiving happen on the same request.
