DPD Returns Management
Returns shipped through DPD handled in the RetJet dashboard, with the shipment number linked to the request and tracked in transit.
DPD is a carrier present across Europe, chosen by stores shipping both domestically and abroad. It has a dense network of drop-off points, which for returns often matters more than it does for outbound shipping.
What connecting to RetJet gives you
Being able to drop off a return at a point spares the customer from waiting for a courier, and the store from arranging a pickup time. What’s left is the question of where that parcel is and what it’s about.
RetJet answers it without checking the carrier’s website.
How it works in practice
The customer picks DPD as the return method in the return form. The shipment number is attached to the request, and its status updates through to warehouse receiving.
What changes in day-to-day work
- The customer drops off the return at a point, without scheduling a courier.
- The shipment number is linked to the request, no more anonymous parcels.
- Visibility of shipments on their way to the store.
- Warehouse receiving in the same place as the rest of the handling.
