How to connect xSale
Connecting xSale to RetJet happens through authorization in xSale, without pasting a key. See what to prepare and how the login works.
xSale differs from other sales channels in one key way: you don’t paste any API key here. Instead, you log in to xSale, confirm access, and RetJet fetches and saves the token on its own. That’s why the key field in the form is disabled.
What you need
- your organization’s name in xSale, which is part of the API address,
- your xSale login and password, the same ones you use to log in to your own dashboard.
You don’t need to request or generate anything in settings. Access is created the moment you confirm it with your own account.
Fill in the API address
In RetJet, go to the “Sales channels” section and add a new channel of type “xSale”. In the “Store API URL” field, a pattern is pre-filled:
https://api.xsale.ai/organization-name/
Enter your organization’s name in it. That’s the only value you fill in by hand.
Authorize RetJet in xSale
Next to the key field you’ll find an authorize in xSale button. After clicking it:
- Your browser takes you to the xSale login page.
- You log in with your account and confirm access for RetJet.
- You return to the channel setup form, and the key field is already filled in.
If you see an authorization error message instead of returning to RetJet, start over: it usually means the login session expired in the meantime.
What happens next
RetJet saves a renewable token, so access doesn’t expire after a few hours and you don’t need to log in again for every request. You can revoke permissions on xSale’s side at any time, and the integration will simply stop reading orders.
Once authorized, save the channel and you can move on to configuring your return rules, just like with the other sales channels.
