How to connect SellRocket
How to connect SellRocket to RetJet: your instance's individual address, an access token, and testing the connection before saving the channel.
SellRocket runs on a model where every customer has their own instance of the system. That’s why, unlike with other integrations, the API address here isn’t the same for everyone, and you’ll need to get it together with the token.
Before you start
Prepare two things:
- your instance’s API address. It looks like
https://instance-name-beel-api.enterprise.sellrocket.pl/api/v2/, where only the first part varies, - an access token for that instance.
If you’re not sure which instance name is yours, ask your SellRocket account manager for both values. Guessing based on your company name usually ends in a connection error.
Add the sales channel in RetJet
- Log in to RetJet and go to “Sales channels”.
- Add a new channel of type “SellRocket”.
- In the “Store API URL” field, paste your instance’s address. The field doesn’t pre-fill a value precisely because it’s individual to you.
- In the “API key” field, paste the token.
Confirm the connection works
Click “Test API connection”. A green “Connection successful” message means RetJet reached your instance and can read an order the moment a return is submitted.
Until the test passes, there’s no point saving the channel. The most common cause is an address for a different instance than the one the token was issued for.
What RetJet does with this access
The token is only used to read the order a request concerns. RetJet doesn’t copy your order database “just in case” and doesn’t modify anything in SellRocket, so you can revoke access on SellRocket’s side at any time and the integration will simply stop reading data.
