A return form without connecting your store. For platforms we don't integrate, and for sales made outside an online store.
Not every store can or wants to connect its systems. Sometimes we don’t support the platform, sometimes sales happen outside an online store, and sometimes there’s simply nobody to handle the setup. Basic Integration is built exactly for these cases.
What it involves
RetJet works without connecting to any sales system. The return form, the handling dashboard, labels, and shipment tracking all work the same way as with the other integrations. The only thing that changes is where the order data comes from.
How it works in practice
The customer fills in the form, providing their order details themselves. The request lands in the dashboard, where you decide whether it’s valid, just like with any other return.
You make the form available however suits you: at a ready-made address on our side, embedded on the store’s page with one script, or as a popup opened by a button. The first option works right away and doesn’t require touching your site at all, which for this mode is often the entire setup.
What you gain
- A start with no technical setup: no keys, no addresses, no talking to a developer.
- The same dashboard and the same process as with automatic integrations.
- Printerless return shipping and tracking for the parcel in transit.
- The option to connect your store later, without starting over.
What you don’t get
It’s worth knowing the other side before choosing this option:
- RetJet won’t automatically confirm that a request relates to a real purchase, because there’s nowhere to check it.
- The customer enters the order items themselves, which can be a source of mistakes and follow-up questions.
If your platform is on our integrations list, an automatic connection is, in practice, almost always the better choice.
