How to connect Sellasist
Connect Sellasist to RetJet step by step: the API address with your organization's name, a key from the dashboard, and testing the connection.
Sellasist connects as a sales channel: the source RetJet reads an order from the moment a return is submitted. Setup comes down to two fields: the API address and a key.
The API address follows a fixed pattern
In Sellasist, the address isn’t arbitrary. It contains your organization’s name and looks like this:
https://your-organization-name.sellasist.pl/api/v1/
You’ll recognize your organization’s name from the address you use to log in to your own dashboard. It’s the most common place to make a mistake with this integration, so it’s worth starting by copying the address straight from the browser’s address bar.
Generate a key in the Sellasist dashboard
The API key is created in the Sellasist dashboard settings, in the section for integrations.
- Add a new key and give it a name you’ll recognize its purpose by later.
- Leave the permissions read-only. RetJet fetches order data but doesn’t write or change anything in Sellasist.
- Copy the key and keep it until you enter it in RetJet.
Enter the data in RetJet
- Log in to RetJet and go to the “Sales channels” section.
- Add a new channel of type “Sellasist”. The API address is pre-filled as a pattern, you just need to add your organization’s name.
- Paste the key into the “API key” field.
- Click “Test API connection” and wait for the message “Connection successful”.
When the test fails
Check, in order: whether the address still has the placeholder organization-name instead of your real one, whether the address ends with /api/v1/, and whether the key has expired on Sellasist’s side. If all three check out, contact us with the exact error message and we’ll look into it on our end.
